I was going to call it Potty Pottery.... but you know these days DPC just doesn't have much of a sense of humor. :-)
The piece is called a cabbage. My sister made it. It's a nifty piece of pottery that is very fine (thin) and VERY sharp. They'll cut you if you're not careful. This particular cabbage matches the wall in my spare bathroom, and in the evening, the light that filters through that window is particularly nice.

I really like this a lot... the sunshiny earthy colors of pottery and shadows and shapes to boot. Beauty in the everyday... this is perfectly suited, in a good way.
