almost the opposite of what was called for - dark subject, light only from the back and not enough to call the background white

Delicate and artful. Background is nice - light with variation. Foreground subjects read as dark rather than light, which probably will hurt scores.

Maybe a tighter crop would've benefited this image. Quite like the lonely feel to the flower...wish I could see just a tad more detail

Love this. I don't think it meets the challenge well, but the shot is just awesome. 6 for sheer beauty.
