Lovely lighting, POV and crop. sweet expression. The conversion to B&W really suits. the more I look the more I like the grain, gives it a certain nostalgic feel.
Cute expression. I like the fence in the background. The grain I can take or leave - not sure what it adds either and I think Ann's suggestion that a lighter touch might work better is a good one. I wish his hand wasn't there - or it was more there. I had to really work out what it was.
The shot is excellent. The B&W conversion is fabulous. Not sure the heavy grain adds anything, though. He kind of looks like he has some sort of skin disease. A lighter touch on the grain might work better.
