Just wonderful shot setup, and processing. Just look at the detail in the blacks. Thanks.

Well done John. Obviously one of my favorites in the challenge.

this happened to be my favorite of the batch believe it or not. i thought it had a jmritz or jagar vibe to it

Wonderful work as always, John. Congratulations on the top ten.
Post actions
Yep... certainly a 10 for me! Amazing how many people knew this was you. What a tribute!

There were so many great images in this challenge. Thanks for being such a great inspiration.

You always catch the moment so perfectly. Congrats on TT and a treat of a challenge to view.
Post actions
Congratulations John. What a fun challenge. You are still the master.
Post actions
The master at work. Love this:)

Fantastic, like an angel on one shoulder, devil on the other, I suppose we can guess who would be laughing...
Post actions
Despite only finishing 6th in your own challenge, there is a "bright side". Ansel Adams finished 11th in his. :)
Post actions
Another impressive image. Thanks for inspiring so many.

Now we know it has to be.Congrats John on the image and the challenge.
Post actions
At least you got top 10 in your own challenge :)
Post actions
Congrats John - on having such a remarkable style that so many recognized this as yours :)
Post actions
Didn't comment, but had this one pegged for yours. Lovely John.
Post actions
'T'was you more than any other. More than processing.
Post actions
This, as I wrote, is the only jagar image in the bunch. You have a way with light and story-telling that I can't hope to achieve for years. IMO this should've been #1, so congrats and thanks for everything!!!
Post actions
Glad you did well in your own challenge! Watch though, you might have some competition in the future.
Post actions
Marvelous image, John. Congrats on the tt!
Post actions
Glad to see this did well. I just love the chuckling man!
Post actions
Jejeje, not even an HM in your own challenge? Awesome!
Post actions
On well you made the TT, see so far no one has won their own challenge so why should you hehe~
Post actions
Ha! I'm so happy to see you in the Top Ten!!

watch and be amused. A perfect story telling image.
Post actions
Really like the comp and processing, very like jagar to me.
Post actions
This is great. The expression of the man behind the window is priceless. Also excellent PP- very jagar-esque
Post actions
I like how you made them grow a mustache before they posed for you.
Post actions
Good bw. Great portraits.
Post actions
What a strange and comic photo! The more I look the more it delights me. The three men have an odd resemblance to each other despite the variety of their moustaches.

The thing I love about Jagar's shots is the absolute candid nature of them. They have a rawness and they aren't "technically" perfect. That's what I enjoy about them. If I had to guess out of all the entries, I'd say this is the man himself.
Post actions
Heh!! Perfect! Such different views, but all moustached. The "is it real or is it memorex" guy in the back is wonderful! I'd wager this is the actual jagar, and if not, you've captured the essence of his work well enough to make him worry, I'd wager!
Post actions
Ohhh Jagar??? if not should be
Post actions
feels like three aspects of a single entity.
Post actions
Three different thoughts. I love this.
Post actions
A wonderful image! The reflected guy is a fantastic inclusion. I really like how they all have moustaches.
Post actions
And that's my second guess for Jagar's photo. I'm probably wrong. Regardless, very well done!
Post actions
I haven't been through all of them yet, but this one stopped me in my tracks. Very Jagar-like. Love it.
Post actions
Jagar for sure I think....is that a headless man in the background, lol!
Post actions
Guy in the reflection is a fantastic element to the image!
Post actions
ok this is my first pick for jagar's entry. if you're not jagar then super big props.
Post actions
Processing is like Jagar! Good stuff.
Post actions
Post actions
Unusual mood, they look frozen, Jagar?
Post actions
This looks like one from the man himself but so do a couple of others, nice image anyway.
Post actions
This is my #2 choice for jagar's image. Very much in his style and processing. 9
Post actions
Wonderful Jagarish processing
Post actions
Made me smile. Has that subtle humor that John often includes.
Post actions
Needs a second look but then it's obviously the man himself - or? Bumping up since I missed the best part at first glance.
Post actions
This is very convincing has all the elements of one of my favourite photographers on DPC.. In fact, I'm gonna declare this as my top pick and state I think this is the man himself... 10
