This is a new comment series for me, so please bear with me while I find my style!

This is one of my 8s - I like it a good deal. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Such a purposeful walk and such wry smile. What a pair they are. I really like the matching (uniform?) colours too.

2. Those stripes of green paint are lovely - they lift the image from an already cheerful scene.

3. Great light too - both for what it is doing to the scene and for the squint it is inducing.

Despite our politicians life must go on. Nice moment caught. Pity the focus was a tad off the kids. She has pride. Look at the polished shoe(s).
