Smoke from a burning sponge wafting at random in front of a toothpick holder shaped like a porcupine. I liked the ruggedness of the animal and thought the swirl of smoke looked somewhat similar, maybe like an ancient ancestor looking in.

This seems more like the strange creature in the bottom right than it does any smoke in the rest of the image. To me the smoke needs to be the main subject and really should have more about it that attracts the attention and keeps it. That's just my opinion. Good luck with the challenge.
