I think a little bit of white balance could go a long way on this one. The snow has a very blue cast, which is easily corrected and the image would really spring to life.
Thanks mike - my colour blindness probably caused me to miss this though now you say it I think I can see this issue. I would appreciate your tips on how to correct it. I have Photoshop CS6 but don't know how to use it. I also have the photo in RAW format but again don't normally go near the RAW file and usually have to delete the RAW files every time my hard drive is full up (quite often!)
Thanks skewsme - yes Fergal, the white one is a Petite Basset Griffon Vendeen and Molly, the brown one is a Basset Fauve de Bretagne. Both French hounds - hence why the leads are still firmly in place.
What cuties... they look a lot like one of ours... (Sophie ) - what kind of mix are they? OOh ok, petite basset griffon vendeen... found them in your port. They're a bit bigger than Sophie I think. Beautiful pooches.
