I find the finish of this image instintly appealing then a little bit of a let down on closer examination. It makes me go ooooo painterly finish effect and look closer which is great but then it looks like maybe it doesn't have that little something else to keep me keen. I'd love to talk to you about how you did this and see if we can exchange some ideas with the direction this is headed. I voted it up for instant apeal but down for subject and depth. (also nicely lit and composed). |
