I don't believe in NY resolutions but I do set goals for myself, this is one I have for myself during the year. This boy was a friend of the boy in my 'celebration' shot, they knew I was taking photos of them, and agreed to it.
Oh yes I had NO intention of entering this challenge until I saw all the pic's I took from this outing, and then figured this would fit in some how, so I guess you could call it a nice shoehorn!

Excellent shot. Good emotion. I agree with you on the resolutions bit...make them goals and then you don't have to worry if you fall off the horse once in a while. Get back on and keep going.
