Your first mistake was thinking outside the box, the votes at DPC are based on eye candy or being slap bang in the middle of the box.

I was one of your 7's. There were a couple of entries I thought were better, but this was getting into my top tier categories. I just assumed hidden wires to illuminate the bulb, but that was irrelevant. You were asking people to think, and that's a mistake on your part. If you simply assumed everyone was an imbecile, I'm sure you would have done better.
Keep images like this coming because it was well done.
