Tochigi Prefecture is famous in Japan for its strawberries. I saw this cuisine technique on Facebook, which involved some recipe with cream cheese or something. I just used ordinary whipped cream available from the supermarket. And black sesame seeds for the eyes.
This was a trial run, but on Christmas Day I managed to make only two strawberry Santas for my Indonesian nephews, because they're the youngest. (Only two Santas because I was busy making pavlova nests.)

Pavlova is an Australian dessert made from meringue and fruits with cream. Pavlova nests are just a small version using prepackaged round meringues about five inches across.
