It snowed until about 3 o'clock at My Nikko school, yet remained rather sunny all day at home - they're only 30km apart, but the elevation makes a difference in weather sometimes.
This is part of the famous cryptomeria avenue that leads to Toshogu Shrine in Nikko, so some of the trees are about 400 years old.
