 I have hundreds of flower shsots from this time frame to choose from, & it was hard to pick because I've lost interest in the kind of shots I was taking then. Plain documentary shots are so...plain. This one at least had hot sunlight in the FG & shaded woods in the BG & that nice curving line of sight.

pretty colors, pretty garden - the light is a bit 'hot' in this and the details seem a bit lacking in the foreground flowers

Very nice in combination with the background. Btw. I've no problems with plain documentary shots, they're often more showing real life than the artistic ones.
