Some photographers are content with what they see, some are aware of meta-reality, some can't resist interpreting reality, and some are intent on their own inner private vision.
This is right where it all started for me, with this bunch of photos of the orchids on my front porch. I lost interest in what I can see with my eyes & became fascinated with what new visions I can create with the camera. I have always been fascinated with the abstract, & have created abstract comps from normal photographs. Now I am creating abstract in-camera, & using that to create even more abstract comps.

I have never gotten over it, & am still busy creating these abstracts. It's still fun.
Fascinating. I like the part at the right where there's a very sharp curved "fold" and the rays of light burst out of it as if they could no longer be contained.
