Hard one to comment on. I like the action and the movement of those waves coming in, problem is there's only a small DOF. That's OK with the background, but I would like to see the foreground more in focus, especially the dark part of the water. Maybe shutterspeed was a bit too long as well?

This has good action. I think the shot is too close which makes it lacking in compositional elements.
