A top 10 with a 6.2.... I knew the lamp would be a love/hate element. I suppose compositionally, it might have worked better without it. But I wanted both a color counterpoint, and an external symbol of hope which the figure refused to see for being so deeply (perhaps stubbornly) oblivious. BTW, the figure is me.

Nice composition. I am not sure that this pose evokes silence for me though. With the title and the position I tend to hear an occasional sob or too.

Amazing colors! The salt lamp is a great accent/contrast to all the greens. Adding to my favorites. She looks very depressed... and silent. Hope it will ribbon.
