Wow, after 13 votes I reached my highest score during voting - 8.45! :)
It can't hold here, but at least I hope I can get a 7+ at the end!

Yes, it will be a 7+ score in the end - now it's at 7.55
I really hope this means a ribbon, doesn't matter which color and the photo will be on my profile page, so at rollover it will be in any case a good moment for me :)
A Blue, what a sweet morning!
My model, Mariangela, will be happy, for the second time she enters in my profile page (my top score shows a 24 faces version of her). This is my first BW image that gets a 7+ score.
I have to thank her for waking up at dawn and for being so perfect for this shot. And my friend Edmondo who was with us - every time I make a shot that gets a blue, he's with me!
bohemka you are extremely right! We knew that on that side the umbrella had that flaw but didn't notice during the shooting, so I almost entered another shot instead of this one. I was sure that a lot of people would notice it. I tried to fix it but I was afraid to break advanced editing rules.

I like how the background it blurred and washed out. It helps me focus on the subject without being overpowered by the background. You've made the background an important part of the image, without taking away the emotive vibes from the main subject.
Never change that umbrella! It adds the element of imperfection without the image would be just too smooth! There's just too many immaculate young women showing up on photographs. Yours is special because there's a story hidden in it.
Congrats!! I absolutely LOVE this photo. Your model is gorgeous and the composition is interesting and beautiful. This is about the 10th time I have looked at this photo so far today. I just love it!
#3, tied with another.
This is exceptional, but there were three images I thought were better. The woman is beautiful. Her position flows through the scene with the aid of the water barriers. The umbrella is a nice touch.
Lovely photo. The dress is gorgeous, and the contrast really works here. Honestly, I would have left out the umbrella. It distracts and doesn't really work with the dress. Would have to be an old lacy one to fit I think... or perhaps burn it enough so it's darker and you can't see all the sags and wrinkles. PS. The title immediately put a song in my head. Infinity by Inara George. I find it fitting.
