The votes have been all over the place on this...at 80 votes it was at 6.6 then went down to the 6.3 range..I actually thought it was going to go under 6...then It surged up to 6.73 at 120 votes before leveling off.
The picture is my girlfriend's daughter taken before she left for Halloween. I added the blood in post and spent way to much time on it...hours! It just never looked right to me. It looks so much better close up than what it does in the finl edit Beyond the blood I really didn't do anything else besides the color...I tried blacking out the eyes and even enlarging them, but it just didn't look right.
There a lot of great shots out there, hopefully this will finish in the top 10...

Really? I imagined to see skulls in the catchlights of her eyes!
Congratulations on the HM, Tom. I hope you use her in another and completely different kind of challenge - she's delightfully fresh looking and very pretty.
Lighting and details on the face of this young girl are fabulous. The blonde tresses that curl down around her oval face, the freckles, and the startling blue eyes do indeed paint a picture of young innocence. But then there are the little sinister details that tells the audience all is not so innocent. The staring eyes, the black veil, and the dribble of blood coming from the lips all speak of something lurking behind the innocence.
