This one was hard! I have worked so hard to learn photohraphy techniques that DON'T have distracting elements, it was hard to purposefully come up with one that did.
So I went for something fairly traditional, paired with something totally random (and distracting!)
Jason is going to be Spiderman at a Halloween party this year, I figure why not get extra use from it! The bra was a weird/funny afterthought because I needed a second item! What is more distracting than Spiderman holding underwear??! :)
**its been interesting to read the threads on each persons interpretations of this challenge... But this is how I interpreted it. "Elements" that could be edited out in post processing are not distractions in my opinion. I took the "distracting elements" to be ones that would not normally be in the frame or ones that did not fit in or within the theme of the frame. Like a person in a Spider-Man suit in a still life shot...holding underwear.
But that's me. :)

Congratulations Samantha, much deserved win :-) My wife is jealous of your bra's size, I am jealous of Jason's body, but we both admire your photo skills and creativity!
Teehee! Lots of fun and beautifully lit. To my eye the style isn't quite surreal enough to be Christophe, but the lighting and camerawork most definitely is. Good work on another blue Samantha! :-)
Lighting is nice as is the background. I just think there is TOO much going on here and no message. Why spiderman with a bra and all kinda of other things? Why a title about still life when there is clearly a person in the shot?
Hmmmn, Not my cup of tea, I guess loads of distracting elements in this shot, which make no sense to me, but what would I know, I'm sure you will ribbon bc it's excellently processed and shot.
LOL, very interesting shot; sometimes I wonder what is going on in your head, Christophe.
Not quite sure what the distracting elements are - or if the image consists of distracting elements only... 10
This is pretty awesome, I would seriously consider putting this one up for sale when done. I could see this on the wall at some places :) My only 10 for this one.
