Found this in a very small park. People there must've thought I was crazy walking around taking photos of dead flowers. As I was walking out, this red flower caught my eye (got no idea what the name is)
No it wasn't Photoshopped - the red flowers go purple when they die. The only thing I did was move one of the dead flowers (the purple & yellow one underneath the red) away slightly 'cos it was blocking the living one.
Maybe its my imagination but the red flower looks photoshopped. Anyway, I'll vote on it as if it weren't as I'm probably wrong! I really like the idea, others have done the growing transition but this is the dying transistion.
did you put the fresh one in there, or was it like this ? cool shot - I feel it could have been better vertically framed though. Some of the leaves in the upper right are a distraction
Doesn't anyone deadhead anymore? :) Joking aside - I like the subject and the coloring of the spent blooms. But overall, something about this picture isn't working for me. I know - not exactly a helpful comment.
