I bought some softboxes but haven't really used them.
Decided at the 11th hour last night to pay homage to this photo:
I had to setup up shop outside since the ceilings in my house aren't high enough and the rooms are too small. It was getting cold and started to rain, so my window of opportunity was limited to eight total shots. I'll be trying this again since I'm not happy with the results.

A shot in my top ten.
Love the darkness and shadows cast on the face. The subject almost disappears into the background... but you can still see certain definition.
Nicely done.
I would have gotten rid of the watch, however... it's somewhat distracting.
