Dawid Laas flying Dawid's privately owned ex SAAF ZU-IMP 479 Atlas Impala Aermacchi MB-326M at Waterkloof AFB during the annual AAD Expo Aerospace and Defence Airshow. The weather was terrible and thus dull light so I took to doing more environmental interest images rather than dull grey sky aerial shots. The BG is the Airfield Tower and there is a captured tank below adding interest. ZU-IMP is hangared at Lanseria Airfield up the road from me at Elite Jet :)
Anyone who has used a slow s/s (in this case 1/125s) and hand panned a jet aircraft (and kept it sharp) will appreciate this image especially the perfect flat horisontal lines. This was an individual click as she flew past and NOT part of a high FPS hold finger on button and hope for the best. A 6+ in a FS would be nice but high hopes.
