Local pond about 4 miles from my house. It's on the way to one of my work sites and as I was driving by this morning I spied the heron out of corner of my eye and quickly turned down to the pond road. This guy hasn't been there for months so I'm happy he is back. It didn't take long before he got sick of me taking his picture, and flew off into the mist.
I really wanted to remove the reed in the bottom left but when I asked SC, it was advised that I shouldn't as it would be a major element being that there are not many elements in the shot...oh well...I kind of like it in there actually...but it looks cleaner without it.

Absolutely stunning... But did you clone out a stick but forget the reflection? I'm trying to figure it out. It does look like a reflection and not a stick on the bottom...
