I do not understand your question so cannot give a yes or no response.
The photo itself looks like a snapshot. The shadows and burn out from the flash detract from your idea.

imo, you could have cropped in more on the right, eliminating the black lamp shad and the light glare on the papers, without compromising your image any. Interesting angle, nice color.
