The Halloween exhibits are up at the botanical garden. Most of the hay bale sculptures look like hay bales with faces painted on. Some genius made this life-size dragon out of hay. It's amazing.

The corral is to keep the little idjits out, or they would try to climb all over it. We got a frog-thrashin' rain all day today, with plenty of tornado warnings/sightings, so I am going back tomorrow to see what this sculpture looks like after all that fun.
I understood about the fence but had the same regrets as sfalice. This is just a terrific sculpture and so amazing to think it is made of hay. With the drought here this year, that would have been a very costly project LOL
