I really hope this photo does well - its not what i would put into a travel brochure - but I really like it
I like the strong lines. I like how the people contrast with the institution in every way . Heay, light. straight lines - human shapes. Static and stil, a hint of movement and wind on the skirts. The two women on the right show the most contrast and the most movement - perhaps the woman on the left who sets herself apart is half way to being turned into stone, 9
I like the way the women contrast with the straight shapes and lines of the building as well as the conversion to B&W. I would have liked it even more if the the vertical lines of the building would have been parallel to the border of the photo.
I really like this photo. However, it might not be that great for the travel guide theme since you can't actually see what it is that they are looking at. :) I'll still give you a 9
