My daughter and I wondered the Northwestern University campus looking for a good place to take a natural light shot. I had planned on using one of the beautiful old buildings on campus, but they don't let you into those without a student ID to wave at the sensor. Security had gotten more strict in the 25+ years since I attended. This building did not have as much character as I had imagined, but the light was nice.

Thanks for all the comments.

As others have said, its all in the reflection- gives it a timeless almost mystical feel.

I have to say that I expected a higher finish for this. I loved that you included the environment in the shot. Love the beautiful glow of light and the reflection in the window too.

I dig this. :) Even just the reflection image cropped for a more artsy shot would be cool I think.

Nice use of the diagonal and vertical lines. Like the reflection. For the challenge, I wish this was just a bit more about her. Voted earlier.

i wish her pose and facial expression was a little different, but over all this image has a very laid back and relaxed feeling. nicely exposed.

Nice geometry in this Image. The reflection and composition make this so much more than a portrait..
