I feel Tara didn't need the bridge, she is a stand alone subject. The light bridge structure in the background may give you the contrast you needed, but it does distract from her.
For me, the background competes for attention with the girl. My eyes are continually drawn away from her face to all of the bright areas in the background.
A lovely shot. The subject stands out from the background nicely, a good job 'losing' what could have been a major distraction. The light on the girder even gives a nice strong line to the back of her head. Excellent work, well done.
