Window behind her, gold/silver mix reflector to her front left (that's what you can see in her eyes.
I may get some comments about her stray hair - I tried it with them cloned out but it didn't look so balanced.
Haven't entered for a while but I was tempted by this challenge - I like to shoot portraits and when I do, natural light is my primary method of illumination. Also - it would be a shame not to give that particular lens an outing for a challenge such as this!

Love this image ..and i want the lens as well i have a 5omm.1.8g but i can see what the 85m does i,m off too a wedding in nov as a guest but i,d like too try using this lens ..well done paul
A very good shot, a clever pose, shallow DOF and high viewpoint work well. The ligth dress and surrounding really draw attention to the black hair and her beautiful face. Congrats.
So glad I guessed right, and not just because I love being right(a rarity for me) but also because this place is better with you participating in it. Even if it knocks most of us down a spot in the voting.
This was one of my 10s. I must say that this is the single most engaging portrait I have seen to date. Loved the model, the light, the stark but interesting background. I am totally inspired to step up my portrait game. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Congrats on the ribbon it is well deserved.
Back with a vengeance. Took me a while to realize that she was cross-legged. I assumed she was standing, tricked by the shallow dof of the lens.
Anyway, good to see your entries again.
10 from me Paul brilliant, I had the pleasure of going through your portfolio last night showing my mrs what Im striving for in my photography, great return and easier new name :)
I loved this one. Beautiful model and beautifully handled. Congrats on the new PB and the ribbon. Plus, I am happy to see you back in a challenge. I still have so much to learn from your work.
The depth of field in this really makes it work, lovely point of view and model, the just visible half lotus position is the icing on the cake for me. Could almost be a paulbtlw shot. 8
