Had something totally different entered... the evening of Rollover.
So... here we are now.
One of my beautiful and helpful daughter's Top Five Things She Fears (only found this out today...) is having slits (like old women) for her earring holes.
We were brainstorming and came up with using something as earrings.
I pulled our beaters out of the kitchen drawer.
Her response was immediate and loud: "ABSOLULTELY NOT!!"
Game on. *grin*
So... in between shots (after I talked her into actually dangling them from her lobes instead of me Expert Editing them in), I'd say "okay" and she'd hold the weight of them off of her lobes.
She's a trooper.
I love her.
I took others with both earrings showing... but the earrings seemed to overwhelm the image (duh! wonder WHY?!)... so I took this shot with only one.
I'm gonna see if I can find out the other four of her Top Five Fears and make her shoot with them next week! LOL!!
Poor girl. Such a sweetheart with such a nasty mom... *sad sigh*
I hope you like it.

I'm enamored of this image for some obscure aesthetic reason I have trouble articulating. I think it has to do with the odd framing that makes her neck and chest look like one flat plane.
Believe it or not, I've actually seen ear rings like this. Unreal. Nicely posed, but again, the half face thing that appears to be a recent technique here is driving me nuts - I hate it.
This is great! Actually reminds me of the movie Zoolander - with models wearing ridiculous getups. Given the things some designers put on their models, i could see this happening!
I love the detail and clarity in the models eye and beaded top, they're very complimentary. :)
I hope to see this finish with high marks!
