I was kayaking on the Ottawa River when I found a long bay in the middle of Big Duck Island. It was so peiceful and beautiful that I had to take a chance and bring my camera in the kayak and go back. The painted turtles were not impressed that I was there and they kept jumping off the logs before I could capture them! I managed to sneak up on this one and take two pictures before he bailed on me too!
