 A simple vase with water granulates in. Placed on the light table and captured by the A1 :o)
Finetuning in Photoshop (gradation, color, size, unsharp-mask)... there you have it.

needs more depth of field, too much of the subject is out of focus

Finally figured out what was bothering me about this photo. The focus is on the near face of the container, but the background obscures all but a few of the "granulates" so there isn't much to look at. Might be more interesting & have more impact with a colored background.
