I had great expectations for this image, because I love landscape photography and this shooting session has been one of the most exciting in a while: we were four guys (Giuseppe, Gianluca, Edmondo and I) in the absolute silence of Campo Imperatore. The peak you can se on the left is the highest in the Italian Apennines (Corno Grande - 9,554 ft). I've been very surprised seeing its strange 'daytime' color, but I guess is due to the distant lights visible on the other side.
As you can see is a single 30 minutes exposure.

Hello,
I also have a Nikon D7000 and as far as I know (since I'm still learning how to use it) I can only get a 30 second exposure. I was wondering how in the world you can capture these AMAZING photos with a 30-minute exposure!?
Thanks, and by the way you are one of my favorite photographers on this site. :)
I don't normally comment on these sorts of photos, b/c we get a lot of them around here, but this one is very special in that the reflections can be seen in the water, great stuff~
