Last minute idea. We were sitting in the car waiting for my husband, brick wall in front of us, when I noticed that it was the perfect time for shadows. I asked my daughter to go "do something". This was my favorite of the 5 shots that I took.

was kind of hoping it might catch the attention of the posthumous crowd, but I know it's still a little too normal for that. I'm working on it though! It's out of the box for me and definitely better than the alternative taken a couple of days earlier:

In what was tantamount to a free study, many of entries seemed bereft of quality. Maybe they put no effort because of the restrictions on the camera.
Anyways, I rated this higher than I normally would because it appears real thought went into the composition and execution even though it's not normally my cup of tea in free study'esque challenges.
Left the same comment with the other #2 vote. Normally I would write something different, but both entries are really similar, thus warrant the same comment.
