A young super (opera speak for "extra") that appeared with me in Pittsburgh Opera's 2011 production of Turandot.

This is a scan of a paper print -- not a negative scan. As such, for me it was an exercise in "post processing" using traditional darkroom methods. There was a lot of contrast between the boy's hair and the white of his costume. To control that in the print, and retain shadow and highlight detail, I used a 1.5 multigrade filter.
