I like the reference, but believe the composition may be lacking. The lone foreground element does put me in the picture some, and without it the image would be lacking further, but there is nothing to draw me into the image from the lone foreground element. I wish more foreground was included I do believe. I would like to see this same image in advanced editing too. I imagine the smoke would come out a bit more punchy.
