Unfortunate that you had the uneven lighting that you did. This is another reason why I mentioned the monopod on the other shot- would've helped you out quite a bit on the ISO here. Have you tried various photo stances or taking a burst to get a single in focus frame? Lots of high ISO techniques to be used with this one, particularly since it's a lighter lens and relatively compact.

Nice detail. My instinct might have been to use a slower shutter speed and lower ISO, but I would have missed out on the nice water droplets. Nice choice.
