I wasn't happy with my entry (or any shots for it) up until the last day. On that day I switched my picture mode to a custom black and white that upped the sharpness a lot, upped the contrast a little, and applied a yellow filter. Then I got three different shots I liked, and had to have my wife help me.
I have shot this farm before, but never posted in a challenge. An HDR version was shortlisted for a Free Study entry last fall when the corn stalks were tall on the other side of the fence. Of course, no big corn stalks now, but with the pleasing clouds in the sky and the afternoon light, I think this worked out pretty well.

A nice gentle summer scene. I might prefer it with more of the wide expanse to the right - with the silo where it is it just seems a bit unbalanced to me. Love the fence and those bits of clouds.
