I like the composition you chose, but it's a little washed out. I think a levels adjustment or using the black and white adjustment tool in photoshop to selectively desaturate it might have really added some punch. (voted earlier)
Great clouds. The sky is bright relative to the hills, trees, forest and meadow. I suspect this may be a straightaway monochrome conversion. (I apologize if I'm wrong.) A channel mixer conversion to monochrome may have produced a more dramatic result.
