ND 0.9 filter on the lens to combat the sunlight so that I could get the long exposure.
This was my first time back in the area where I slipped and broke my arm back in February. I had hoped that it was going to be cloudier.
I *should* have gone out first thing in the morning, but when I got up it was only 30f (-1c) out. If I had, the sun would have been behind the mountain and I'd only have gotten the diffuse light I wanted. I'd go reshoot now, but it's about the same temp and I'm a wimp and don't feel like going out in the cold.
I'm not sure of the exact coordinates of the falls, but I've included coordinates for the parking area at the trail head. The trail is actually pretty easy for this area(unless you plan on going all the way up Mt Adams). This is part of the Presidential Range (Mt Washington is the most famous of the lot)
Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft (1,917 m), famous for dangerously erratic weather. For 76 years, a weather observatory on the summit held the record for the highest wind gust directly measured at the Earth's surface, 231 mph (372 km/h) (or 103 m/s), on the afternoon of April 12, 1934.
The mountain is located in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains, in the township of Sargent's Purchase, Coos County, New Hampshire. While nearly the whole mountain is in the White Mountain National Forest, an area of 59 acres (0.24 km2) surrounding and including the summit is occupied by Mount Washington State Park.

Really nice, I like the long exposure and the effect on the water. Perhaps a little tighter crop at the top to edit out the bright highlight in the upper left would be my only suggestion. Great shot none the less.
