The crystal, which is to be a gift from relatives to our daughter upon her marriage so must be protected (but is the only really clear vessel I own), was adhered down onto the white posterboard with double-stick tape so it was protected from the anticipated vicious licking that was to happen to the chicken skin oil I'd wiped into the vessel.
It didn't happen.
Nothing happened. Jack just sat and looked at me.
I tapped in the dish.
Nothing.
Again... nothing...again...
So... a bit of chicken was offered to smell ... and then dropped into the crystal.
Done.
Ha! Success!
He wanted more.
I took him down from my light tent and gave him three more pieces.
Haha!! Great capture! Love the look in the eyes, love the DOF. The only small nitpick I have is it would have been nice if you took down the reds on the lower eyelid. Someone once gave me the same critique on an animal photo -- and it really does make it more appealing when the reds are taken down around the eye.
(doesn't matter one way or another in the voting -- just a thought. :)
