I liked the idea of this challenge from the time it was proposed. However, I struggled with what to shoot. Heck, I struggled with understanding the definition of abstract.
The last day of the challenge I had nothing that I liked. I went up to the roof and shot this of my reflection in a puddle. Part of the reflection is in shadow and part in sunlight. I like the texture of the roof and the vertical lines. I have no idea if voters will.

Very happy with the comments, and from folks for which I have so much respect. My third fish in the last couple months! Life is good.

Another real abstract that should have done much better even as well as it did. Most of the leaders aren't abstract in the traditional meaning but I guess words change and I'm just slow.
The figure begins clear, and dissolves before the viewer's eyes, the textures pop up and the viewer is nicely lost in visions of alien brains and floats in a sea of popcorn ceiling buds. excellent.
