Personally I liked this image and gave it a 7.
It's true that a few shadows could have produced a more interesting contrast in the image, but we can't all control the weather... ;-)
Interesting photo. I like the texture and feel of the wood and windows. Yet, rather than have an "old" feel to it, the - to my mind at least - modern elements, like cinder blocks (concrete blocks), and plastic window coverings put it within my lifetime, losing the "nostalgic charm" factor.
Nice lines and a rugged abandoned subject. I think this should be revisited on a less overcast day. Here the overcast sky has minimized any shadow and there is no contrast in the scene.
