This is from a wedding i photographed late April. The gentleman seated is the father of the groom and this is him catching a quiet moment before the ceremony. It kind of looks staged but is actually candid. The wedding was in Thornbury Castle in Gloucestershire, England. A lovely Tudor castle that is now a hotel and wedding venue. This is the library where the ceremony took place and the guitar is the father's. He played the bride in with a ballad.

@ LydiaToo regarding focus. Yes, that is the really frustrating part about the image. Like i said in my notes, it was a candid and was in pretty low light. Plus it was with my manual focus 50mm so it was a tricky catch really. I would have loved to have got more of him in focus but his head is i think so that will have to do.

To be honest i'm not entirely sure if his lack of focus is down to DOF, subject movement or camera shake. Examining different parts of the image different answers. I think my eyes are broke.

I love this. For me, the focus is telling the other story... the empty chair, guitar, old books... like the man is only here by chance.
Love the blue socks, too :).
I'm not quite sure I get it, the man doesn't look like your typical acoustic guitar guy, lol. It's a well-taken and well-lit image anyway though, I'd so love to shoot a model in that room!
