Unbelievable! A ribbon, and a toilet on my profile page forever.
To answer the questions: the "thing holding the cards" is a weird Dos Equis mask with a crown on top. I thought it looked rather like a stylized card king crown. I guess the thing on the very top of the crown is supposed to be a big diamond.
The wonderful thing about winning a ribbon is the flood of comments that follows. Thank you all for the good wishes, and in this case, the hardy laughs.

LOl, I was trying to work out what that was, I didn't realise it was a toilet, ( I should of just read the title hey ) well done, on making this look flash you pulled it off well. This was my fave.
Took me a couple of seconds, but I finally figured it out. Nice job - interesting blend of techniques and color. Well done - I'm in for a top ten on this one.
