Cute but it comes across as more of a snap shot than a portrait. "Portrait" yells out to me that we are going to hang it on the wall where the visitors can see it, so a small degree of formality might be in order. Just my opinion.
LoL....fun shot, with very nice.....very, very nice focus, and tones. The light here is super. Well done. Tell that kid to keep it up! He's going places!!
