Winner here IMO! Really nice shot, I'm guessing HDR. What's the guy doing on the left? Innocently standing there, or something on his mind? Very good!!
I really like this picture, it conveys a good atmosphere, and a sense that it is taken in a time gone by. There also appear to be lots of stories in the characters and location that raise a curiosity in the viewer, leaving you wanting to know more.
This is a wonderful black and white. I stared at this for a few minutes, wondering if the guy on the left was either (A) smoking, (B) zipping up his jacket, or (C, and my favorite) pulling out a gun to rob the guy on the right :) Nice!
Technically a great shot, love the shadows and the feel of the image, but i feel that if i didn't know this was a challenge about money i'd classify this as more of 'street art' or 'slice of life'.
7/10 on the photo but only a 4/10 for the connection to the challenge. Overall i see this doing pretty good because it's an appealing image. :)
