I remember when Kauai was the only island that had wild chickens. 20+ years ago, I used to go with friends over to Kauai every summer to surf. There were always wild chickens and because us Oahu boys had never seen wild ones before, we used to run around trying to catch them. The locals must've thought, "pfft, stupid Honoluluans."
Now they're on every island and are a bit hated because they crow very early and residents get really upset.
