Thanks amzelda, if I was going for pop, I would would probably take your comments to heart.Pop was the last thing wanted, thus I really tried to get the black blending into black, as this makes me happy. I don't really care about doing a stock footage product shoot.
Thanks for your comments everyone. I used a penlight in total darkness shot with a 30sec. exposure to light my photo. First time trying this method. I don't understand my 1's and 2's, but then who am I?
This was an imaginative play on the composition, but the boots blend into the black background taking away some of the pop. I think another colored background would've improved it.
