Taken in Champagne near the village of Ay where I stayed while over to watch the France-England match in the Six Nations (Rugby Union). It's an attempt at replicating a famous shot taken (I believe) around 100 years ago which can be seen on the homepage of this Champagne House's website. Unfortunately I've been unable to find the name of the photographer or the exact year the original was taken. The scene has changed a bit since then however so sadly the bottle in my image isn't quite as apparent as in the original. Also you may notice the reflection is slightly off but it's the best I could do in the time I had.
By the way we won in the rugby; 22-24 =). My commiserations to any French rugby fans reading.
